While situated in the heart of the coastal state of Goa, just a short distance from the lively beaches of Baga and Calangute, the streets of Parra maintain the charm of a small village with clusters of villas spread out every few miles. We enlisted the expertise of designers to create a 2700-square-foot home that beautifully combines modern design elements with traditional Goan influences. Our goal was to achieve a blend of contemporary luxury and traditional charm, incorporating architectural elements that provide both modern amenities and a touch of cultural authenticity. As soon as one steps foot onto the property, the harmonious fusion of old and new becomes evident. Villa Parra, lined up in a cohesive manner, exude a distinctly contemporary vibe with their geometric architecture.
Villa Parra offers captivating views of lush greenery—it was almost impossible not to take advantage of these stunning vistas in every aspect of the design. To enhance the seamless connection with the outdoors, we incorporated large glass windows that not only maximize natural light and ventilation but also showcase the picturesque views. The spacious bedrooms feature expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows that open up to balconies, while outdoor decks adorn the facade, emphasizing the feeling of being immersed in nature.
Each space within the property tells its own tale and boasts a distinct character, thanks to the locally-sourced materials from various skilled vendors across Goa. This attention to detail is evident right from the living room, where terracotta-colored walls, rattan and wooden textures in the furniture and ceiling, and warm, earthy accents all contribute to a relaxed Goan atmosphere.

However, this modern aesthetic is balanced by the use of rustic materials such as shingles for the roof and stone for the exterior facade, which complement the natural surroundings and local aesthetics perfectly.
