The floors turn into the decadent black Kadappa stone that the outdoor lounge shares its threshold with, making materiality a subliminal part of the expression of the indoor-outdoor life. The stairway runs between the two floors of the house and is steeped in character with the textured stone flooring that changes over into greige oak floors that wrap the treads, risers and climb up the walls to give an old-school, panelled look. Two single beds have encasing headboards that mark the resting space along with the antique style wood nightstands.
