Overlooking the thane creek, 705 penthouse is situated on palm beach road. The idea of this house originated with living room, with plush sofas and comfortable seating for the family and their guests. We added a lot of natural light to the space to create an airy and open feel. The space is fairly large and has almost floor-to-ceiling windows and an amazing view of the vashi creek, we wanted to create a focal point One of the things we did was build out the wall and create a seamless ceiling. to enhance the natural light a wash of ivory tones and beiges was used, and focus was more on textural details.
we like spaces that have an almost seamless, simplistic to look at, but also have a sense of classicism as well. They have material finishes such as the gold or crystal or marble, but the actual silhouette is really simple, and then we take a lot of time to hide all the technical manufacturing details, such as screws and bolts. we used the opportunity to present lights like he’d never done before—a large globular pendant light descends down to side tables and functions as a lamp; other pieces see matte black and gun metal finishes that stand in stark contrast to the ivory tones of the space.
A monochromatic palette is a simple base for details and finishes to take hold in all the bedrooms with long upholstered headboards. Thus, an ‘Opulent Paradise’ – as they call it which classically aligns with the client’s unique lifestyle. Highlighter wall finished in leaf wallpaper that embraces neutral colour in one bedroom. The rock wall at the back is a starc feature of the room. Upon entering, the space exudes refinement and sophistication. The essence of this home truly lies in having created a space with natural tones and yet blended it enough with metallic elements and leather detailing to give a plush look and feel. Where less is more, the colour palette carefully chosen was warm tones of honey and hazel blended in with shades of olive. Imagining the home as a space where one’s creative self can be replenished, the architects brought in earthy materials and textures.
